Osman Mia is shaping Mia Niaga as an innovative and fast-moving company. He does so by setting the long-term strategy for the company while continuously seeking new ways and technologies that increase value.

He has had more than 28 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He joined PETRONAS in 1989 and was key figure in the upstream and downstream sectors in and outside Malaysia, including in crude oil trading, strategic planning and value-based operations. His main strength was in impacting and influencing others to achieve major results.

While in PETRONAS, a feeling had grown within him that he was not being authentic: there was much more that could be done to improve the world. In 2018, an opportunity materialised for him to leave PETRONAS. He did, and went on to form Mia Niaga Sdn Bhd.

Osman is the driver behind Mansa, our first venture project, and several other projects in the pipeline.
